Tonight's post is another fabulous book review. As most of you know I LOVE Tricia Goyer. She is a phenomenal and talented writer. I have posted about her books before and was super excited to post about her latest book, The One Year Book of Amish Peace.
This book is a must read. I love that it is a daily devotional type of book. Tricia offers some great stories, words of wisdom, and fun recipes (I can't wait to try!). You will also find daily inspirations to encourage you throughout your day, Scriptures, a look into the Amish life, and prayers. Tricia has written some Amish inspired fiction books before. I loved reading them and learning something new and inspiring along the way. I've enjoyed learning and seeing what life is like in an Amish community. And this book offers us even more into the Amish life. You can read more about it here :)
Also, Tricia will be having a fun Facebook party this Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Click here for more details and join in on the fun!!!
So, go and grab this book :) and have a fantastic week!!!
You can find the books here...

Today's book review post is definitely about a book that is a "to read." When I was given the opportunity to read this new book by Jefferson Bethke, I totally jumped at the chance. Not only have I heard a lot about this guy for a while now, but I also love to read his posts. So, of course, I wanted to read his new book. I do apologize that my review is just now going up, but I can totally explain some of why it is too.
Let me tell you, this is NOT a book you can just rush through. I totally mean that in a very positive way. This book definitely gives you some food for thought. His comparisons on Jesus' outlook on things versus the whole religious outlook is spot on. In my opinion, he's not calling Christianity (the truest form...beliefs, His Word, etc.) bad. It's the religion Jesus was against (the man-made and wrong kind) that he does. This book makes you take the time to look deep down inside and truly think about it all. He has interwoven his own personal stories along with biblical truths to show us just how much Jesus loves us and wants His best for us. He pointed out a lot of good points that made me have a few "aha! moments" of my own and, at times, his words would cause an "ouch" or two. This is definitely a book that I would and do recommend :)
And, for those who know me, you know that I LOVE quotes and so I had to include some great ones here too :) Click on one of the links below to check this great book out and to read more about Jefferson.
